I worked with DAQRI's executive team to advised direction, coordination, and oversight of mechanical engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, and hardware. • Guided the DAQRI engineering teams in the hardware development of the DAQRI Smart Glasses, DAQRI Smart Helmet, and branded accessories. • Created successful industrial designs used for the production versions of their products. • Advised on systems engineering for intrinsic and extrinsic calibration for production assembly and servicing of the DAQRI Smart Helmet. • Transitioned DAQRI to use industry best practices for product development. This included the use of revision control, intermediate file exchange between teams, and manufacturing package creation. • Aided the engineering teams on DFM/DFA for ODM production. The DAQRI Smart Helmet was featured in the 2016 CES Intel keynote.DAQRI launched the Smart Glasses at CES 2017 and were featured in the Intel booth.

As the Creative Director of 1066 Labs, I was responsible for the Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, UX, and prototype fabrication teams. Acquired by Daqri LLC, 1066 Labs was a leader in the head mounted display industry. Everything was engineered and manufactured in-house, from hardware design, optical-mechanical integration, and electro-mechanical support, to mechanical engineering, industrial design, and visual design. Our goal was to provide the best interactive, audio, video and tactile product experience. We shipped many influential electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical consumer products.
