Discovered through getting things right and getting things wrong that having a true desire to help others is what makes a great safety officer. Successfully managed numerous comprehensive safety, risk management, and loss control programs. I have managed safety programs for companies that consisted of over 3200 personnel and over 2 billion dollars in facilities, vehicles, and equipment in a wide range of environments. I've been the Director of the organization’s safety program with direct oversight of 36 subordinate safety programs and managers. Monitored and enforced the safety program for both aviation and ground operations by ensuring compliance with current policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. I possess a comprehensive background in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and regulations, job hazard assessments, accident investigation, procedures, hazardous waste operations and emergency response, risk analysis, and hazard elimination.
