Kyle Colonna counsels clients facing complex federal tax matters with a focus on corporate tax, consolidated groups, international tax, and partnership tax. He regularly advises clients on structuring, deals, IRS procedures, documentation, reporting, and similar issues. Kyle also works to keep clients abreast of the most recent guidance regarding federal taxation.Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Kyle worked in the Washington National Tax office of a Big Four accounting firm where he gained experience advising companies on the federal tax aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions. In particular, Kyle focused on a broad range of transactional tax matters, including incorporations, distributions, redemptions, liquidations, taxable acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs, consolidated groups, and the treatment of tax attributes.
