After only 3 months in the Pricing Analyst role, I was promoted to the Contract Coordinator position. This new position required very sharp attention to detail, while reviewing national contracts for dozens of vendors. Contracts ranged from small, local contracts with individual vendors, to large Group Buy contracts.

Initially brought on as a Temp/Contract status, my consistent quality work was quickly noticed, and I was offered a full time position within 90 days.As a Pricing Analyst, my responsibilities included the review of any vendor invoices with billing discrepancies and to communicate with a list of vendors to resolve, and recover any overpaid charges. It was important to keep detailed notes, and a history of pricing disputes, should any further discrepancies continue. In addition to the review of pricing disputes, it was my responsibility to maintain accurate pricing from a group of 100+ vendors. This required constant communication with these vendors, and close analytic reports to ensure fair and accurate pricing.

As one of the first representatives a potential tenant will meet face to face, being friendly, inviting and knowledgeable was a key aspect in this position. Mainly rotating between appointments in North County San Diego (Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, etc.), it was my duty to be punctual and prepared for up to 8 showings each day, at potentially 8 different properties.

Receive into inventory damaged or malfunctioning cell phones.Research customer account to find the validity of equipment return.Perform diagnostics to determine the cause of defect, if any.Issue replacement equipment based on variable factors.Log daily returns into company database and subscriber account journals via Excel spreadsheets. Build daily, weekly and monthly reports based off of Excel spreadsheets and company database.

As a young aspiring professional golfer, I was one of many casualties to the failed US Pro Golf Tour, which filed for bankruptcy in 2007, shortly after their first regular season tournament. No monies were returned to the 300+ players who were members of the tour. 2007 was the year I was going to take my shot at playing full time golf for a living. That shot didn't last very long, due to putting my trust and money into the US Pro Golf Tour.
