During my 2019 summer internship I worked on several projects that included sustainability and implementation. I also updated some parts of the current safety culture within the company. I worked alongside other engineers, maintenance crews, and operators. During my time at Covestro, I updated signage and 24 P&ID drawings in tank farm. I reviewed loss codes and prepared meetings for weekly Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) using PI. I examined scrubber trips for the past year using PI Processbook to look into a cause for a recent uptick in unit trips. Throughout my internship I ordered parts, input assets, and helped schedule maintenance work in the department using SAP. I also attended safety trainings, PHA meetings, Root Cause Analysis Meetings, and MOC executions within the department and other parts of the plant.
