As a Development Manager with over 10 years of experience in leading and developing innovative and engaging games for various platforms, I help Ganz USA, LLC to build the Webkinz brand for a new generation using Unity 3D. At Ganz, I am responsible for creating roadmaps, estimates, and planning discussions, as well as overseeing the day-to-day work of the technical team. I also contribute to many R&D projects and work as a Generalist Unity / C# developer, filling in gaps for web development and other areas as needed. I was involved in developing Webkinz Next, a children's world based on virtual pets, and Zoeysdesignacademy.com, a fashion design game with a robust crafting system. I delivered on all major features on time, despite the challenges posed by Covid shutdowns, and developed the majority of the arcade section and games, as well as a large portion of the UI / UX. I also collaborated closely with other developers and designers to architect and design many of the systems and APIs for the games.In addition to my game development skills, I have a CAPM certification and extensive experience in IT consulting and outsourcing with various companies in the Toronto area, such as McDonalds, Department of National Defence, and Ontario Motor Vehicle Institute of Canada.
