I didn't know what I wanted to do for a career until I started working as a legal assistant at the age of 17. What began as a job quickly grew into a passion, sparking my interest in the legal field and inspiring me to learn more about different types of law. Meanwhile, I've always been a sports fan, a love developed through countless hours spent watching games with my father. After graduating high school in 2019, I went straight to college. I chose to major in history because a mentor mentioned that history majors make good law students, and I added a minor in communications simply because I enjoyed it.I've been a cheerleader since I was 8, loving the competitive nature and the camaraderie with my team. Growing up in a sports household and attending many sporting events as a cheerleader sparked my immense love for sports, especially football. As I neared high school graduation, I found myself unsure of my career path. An opportunity as a legal assistant came up, and I took it out of necessity. Over time, I discovered my enjoyment in working with diverse people, learning their stories, and making each interaction unique. This blend of sports and law led me to realize that becoming a sports agent would perfectly combine my passions, allowing me to advocate for athletes and help them navigate their careers.One of my most fulfilling career wins has been drafting estate planning documents to help families secure their future. This process allows me to see a project from start to finish, from the initial meeting where clients share their stories and concerns to the final result of transferring their assets into a trust. Guiding families through this important journey has shown me the profound impact of my work and the importance of clear communication and trust. These experiences have shaped my approach to building meaningful relationships and reinforced my passion for helping others.I am looking forward to graduating with my bachelor's degree next May and then transitioning directly to law school. During my journey to ultimately pass the bar and become a licensed attorney, I would like to connect with professionals in the sports world who focus on being talent agents. I am eager to learn from their experiences and insights, and to build relationships that will help me combine my passions for sports and law into a fulfilling career as a sports agent.
