I am excited to begin my Digital Media Internship with Birns, Inc. this Fall quarter. In this role, I will work closely with the marketing team to create visual content that enhances the company’s online presence. Using my skills in digital photography, videography, and video editing, I will produce high-quality commercial, portrait, and product photography for various marketing campaigns.Additionally, I will assist with social media management, creating and scheduling engaging content to boost brand visibility and audience interaction across platforms. I will also support the team in drafting press releases and conducting research to ensure effective public relations strategies.This internship offers an exciting opportunity to apply my knowledge in digital media while gaining professional experience in content creation and communications. I look forward to contributing to Birns Inc.’s ongoing success and enhancing my skills in media production and public relations.

As a high school English teacher intern at San Luis Obispo High School, I observe and assist students alongside my mentor teacher, support classroom activities, and help maintain a positive, inclusive environment. I engage with students to address diverse learning needs and gain hands-on experience with classroom management and student interaction.

As a server at Lure Fish House, I provide exceptional customer service by delivering fresh, high-quality seafood in a welcoming and efficient manner. I ensure a positive dining experience for guests by managing orders, maintaining a clean environment, and addressing customer needs with professionalism and care.

I returned to Buena High School as a Varsity Cheer Coach after three years on the team, including two as varsity captain. As a coach, I develop leadership and team-building skills, choreograph routines, and guide practices to foster team spirit and discipline. This role continues to fuel my passion for teaching and drives my pursuit of a teaching credential and master’s degree after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

After serving as a Sales Associate I was promoted to Sales Lead/Key Holder, and was responsible for opening and closing the store, register counting, cash reconciliation and making deposits. I gave coaching talks, trained new team members, and led by example for sales associates, while exceeding store sales goals.

During my time at Journeys as a Sales Associate I developed and met personal sales goals and standards of performance, operated cash registers, maintained store appearance and stockroom organization, and displayed excellent customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced retail environment.
