I was previously a Pre-Primary and Primary school educator for 8 years. Although I have enjoyed my years in the education industry working with children, I am now a registered nurse on a PCU unit. I have two bachelors degrees, nursing and elementary education. My call to nursing came after my fathers premature death in 2019. During my time as a nurse so far, I have proudly served as a charge nurse and have precepted many new onboarding nurses to our unit. My passion is to serve others with emphasis on education. Therefore, my long term goal is to gain inpatient nursing experience in order to become a nursing or clinical educator or nurse manager. I would also love the opportunity to be a part of a university in order to teach nursing students fundamental aspects of nursing.I am also eagerly open to any at home supplemental opportunities (flexible, as I have a baby) to help pay off student loans from elementary education and nursing school debt.
