During my time at the K-State Research and Extension I have worked in Crawford County serving the adult and older adult population teaching free cooking, nutrition, and physical activity classes.Some of my daily responsibilities include checking my email, communicating and building relationships with community partners, taking inventory of supplies on hand and those which are needed, ordering curriculum and paperwork, creating a schedule, working with our marketing specialist to advertise upcoming classes, teaching classes, implementing PSE (policy,systems, and environmental) changes, inputting paperwork, packing for classes, cleaning cooking supplies, reporting attendance and paperwork in a timely manner, and reporting direct contact numbers on a monthly basis.
