Communications Strategy And Issue Management Associate
Responsibilities: • Manage communication and marketing projects for county Farm Bureaus as a liaison for Federation and Regional Mangers• Draft, develop, and edit copy for county promotional materials, news releases, print ads, email marketing, radio ads, and post card mailings that communicate the Farm Bureau brand.• Attend, help organize, promote, and assist at Nebraska Farm Bureau events• Help with planning and execution of promotional and issue management campaigns and programs. Coordinate copying, design, printing, and mailing of materials.• Prepare, disseminate, and data entry of analytics for weekly e-newsletter• Proofread and distribute news releases, media advisories, and statements for media and internally on behalf of the organization in a timely manner• Prepare and report monthly expenses for department and adhere to fixed department budget• Research, analyze, and compile information for issue management• Correspond with members, collect want ads, write copy, and proofread Nebraska Farm Bureau News• Proofread marketing materials, letters, and brochures for organization• Secretarial support for vice presidents and staff• Schedule and coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for department• Prepare and maintain weekly team/staff meeting agenda and notesAccomplishments, Team Awards, Related Skills:• Help distribute and create marketing and communication materials used by county Farm Bureaus and Regional Managers.• Assist with departmental procedures manual and assisted with company branding manual• Work with team to develop the design and format of e-newsletters and e-blast marketing• Best Public Relations Campaign 2017 awarded by American Farm Bureau Federation • Excel in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe, Constant Contact, and all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Proficient in Blogger, WordPress, Expensify, Smartsheet, Voter Voice, Social Media (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter)
