Over time, I have had jobs in several areas that seem to be completely different, yet have similarities as well. I started working in a bank, as a teller and worked my way up to a mortgage underwriter. After taking time off to raise my family, I returned to the workforce at a local school district, where I undertook different positions. Health Office Assistant, or aide to the school nurse to district wide Health Secretary in which I audited records to make sure that students met state requirements to attend public school. I then took a position as the Administrative Assistant to a grade school principal. Here I was in charge of purchasing, accounting, enrollment, newsletter publishing, email and phone blasts, assisting parents, students and teachers.After eleven years, I felt the need for a change. I took a position with a Cardiology office that is affiliated with the local hospital. I check patients in, schedule cardiac testing and ease their fears. THIS, is when I realized the similarities between all of my positions. I truly enjoy people and in most instances, am very good at reading them and how best to help them. This is my talent and I look forward to expanding my relationships with friends, family, co-workers and patients!
