CurrentI was promoted to a Technical Recruiter from an Account Manager role in 2008 to assist in the start up of the Professional Services Division in Pittsburgh. As of 2013, I was officially made a Senior Recruiter. As of 2021, I am responsible for the Mid-Atlantic through the Midsouth including PA, WV, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, and FL. My main responsibilities include:- Keeping in close contact with University Career Centers as well as University Professors to assure they are aware of all opportunities we have for new graduates. Assist in planning and attending career fairs, making flyers for the Universities regarding our current opportunities, and working side by side with Career Counselors to keep a constant list of new graduates and academic degree programs offered.- Responsible for networking with top hiring managers and human resource professionals in order to better understand their employment needs and expectations- Working on building a network of over 500 LinkedIn connections in order to effectively skill market potential candidates, and identify candidates that are not actively utilizing other job boards- Interviewing skilled professional candidates and coaching them on proper interview etiquette- Reviewing candidate resumes and providing suggestions on how to better market their skills- Training new internal staff members on the processes and procedures in regards to our daily business routine- Held a conference call training session with other recruiters to assist them in gaining a better understanding of the new computerized database system put into place for our division, and to ensure they were following proper compliance procedures- Supervising the daily compliance requirements for over 60 employees- Utilizing numerous job boards and networking sites including Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and Craig's List to recruit top talent for various professional positions
