Hello, my name is Kylee Davis, and I am a second-year Biomedical Engineering student at UC Irvine. With experience as a laboratory technician intern at an R&D and testing pharmaceutical company, I have gained an understanding of the drug development pipeline, as well as an interest in immunology and healing. My experience as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Wendy Liu’s lab has allowed me to better understand the interdisciplinary approach between engineering and biochemical applications to induce tissue regeneration and wound healing. I strive to leverage my understanding of immunological sciences in combination with engineering principles, and their applications to advancements in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and similar biotechnology.
