I have been working in the renewables space since late 2010. My main areas of work have been solar photovoltaics, energy storage and hybrid systems and microgrids. Over that time, I have designed, installed or managed 100s of MW of solar PV installations across Canada, the United States, Africa, Australia, Euorpe and various island nations around the world.There are many other promising renewable technologies out there but solar PV is the fastest deployed and most accessible solution out there right now. Ultimately, reduced per capita consumption is the only way we can save the planet. Until that happens, I am happy to do my part by working for one of the largest solar panel manufacturers and renewable energy developers in the world.In my role as Senior Manager, Global Engineering, I work with a strong team of professionals around the globe implementing solar energy generation and energy storage into complex systems to improve or build new electricity grids where they are most needed.
