Responsible for upkeep and operations of the district's primary student information system, Infinite Campus, which was implemented by the district shortly before my arrival. Duties included database maintenance and upkeep, end-user training and instruction, reporting, integrations, and new process development.-Extensive practice in TSQL querying and scripting/automation. After transitioning to Infinite Campus, the district needed to re-write and update most automated procedures to run in the new system.-Focus on many DBA responsibilities, including implementation and automation of database maintenance procedures, database backups, and server performance optimization.-Report writing and design using SQL Server Reporting Services 2016, including the development and implementation of complex custom dashboard-style reports.While working at Park Hill, I was able to spend the majority of my time working with our primary system databases. Needs for custom data manipulation and reporting were frequent, allowing me to develop creative solutions to problems that the system front end was unable to solve. This process allowed me to focus on improving query and script efficiency, and find new methods to solve recurring problems. I also gained a lot of DBA level experience- developing a new backup and maintenance procedure for the system and optimizing it for storage and compute power limitations.

I was able to rapidly expand my duties and responsibilities while in this position, and become increasingly involved with the systems and data center, leading upto a promotion to Systems Administrator.
