▪ .NET Core application design and development for an important new transportation-oriented fleetmanagement web application required to handle 500+ requests per second; REST API web service in ASP.NET Core 2.1 and PostgreSQL database using AWS Aurora▪ Application deployed as Linux Docker containers and orchestrated by Kubernetes▪ Synchronization to/from external systems by publishing/consuming messages to message brokers including Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ, also Elasticsearch in support of front-end web application UI search & filtering▪ Designed and developed GenerateEntities, a custom C#-PostgreSQL ORM suited for rapid development and high performance; database-first approach -- scan PostgreSQL database schema and read all tables and constraints; automatically generate C# classes representing each table, and a repository class + interface that provides for CRUD operations on the table▪ PostgreSQL database data modeling, administration, and authoring of DDL migration scripts; developed a .NET Core CLI app for executing versioned migrations and other DB-admin tasks across multiple environments▪ Extended the GenerateEntities tool to include a proof-of-concept DB caching mechanism using Redis that improved DB read performance by 5x to 75x
