With this job, I worked directly with customers, providing service and friendly conversation. As the Team Lead, I led other team members in organization and mandatory procedures. At the end of the night, I counted finances to identify balance of profit. I also filled out the deposit slips and made deposits for the business. I was designated as the "go-to" person by my bosses, giving me the ability to exercise my leadership. I learned how to work with a team to get a job done, even if you have differences. At Uswirl, I also watched firsthand how a business is run, as my boss kept me informed and taught me throughout my time working.

With Stavis & Cohen Financial, I answered phone calls directed to the company and provided assistance for clients’ questions. I took the job to fill in for the lead receptionist as the financial team was offsite. I was given experience with a company specific to my major of study. This task also instilled confidence in me to interact with customers over the phone.

At thatBurrito, I directly associated with the customers, handled and prepared food products, and assessed the state of cleanliness to identify needed attention in areas around the store. This was my first job at the age of sixteen, so I accomplished that key start. I gained confidence in my ability to interact and build relationships with customers. I also found my desire to become a leader in any position I hold.
