Ready, Set, Read! gives parents the self-confidence and skills they need to read-aloud to their preschool and kindergarten-aged children through workshops conducted both in English and Spanish.We work with socio-economically underserved families at preschools and elementary schools throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District, Compton Unified School District and Lennox Unified School District. I advise clients going through significant business events, inclusive of enterprise and functional transformations and mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Within the M&A space, I focus on the people/HR activities across the full deal life cycle for both buy and sell-side transactions. I have partnered with clients to advise and execute on ~$130B+ of global acquisitions and divestitures, with deal activity occurring in 50+ countries and deal sizes ranging from <200 employees to >20,000 employees.Both in and outside of M&A, I partner with senior leaders to make and execute decisions related to the workforce experience & strategy; where the workforce should be located; and what type of work is done within an organization, who does the work, and how it gets done. I also have a background in advising HR executives on how the HR organization should transform to support the goals of their business, addressing topics such as HR strategy, operating model, employee/customer experience, organization design, and technology strategy.I actively participate in business development and sales activities, and am responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships with C-level and senior executives.I have led up to to 6 projects in parallel; typical focus is on 2-3 projects running in parallel, in addition to my internal Deloitte responsibilities.
