-Designs sub-assemblies for series production of electronics cooling products, and low-quantity tools & test fixtures. Practices design for milling, sheet metal, 3D-printing, and cable manufacturing, incorporating GD&T and PMI to ensure product quality.-Developed a test rack to house and cool a portable test system for power amplifiers, prioritizing system longevity and user safety with high voltage electronics. -Designed a custom, temperature-controlled chamber for a client’s high strain rate material testing system. Collaborated remotely with other engineers through the COVID-19 pandemic to determine chamber design and heating and cooling system requirements to achieve temperature range from -50°C to 100°C.-Executed advanced material testing in tension and compression at varying temperatures using digital image correlation to support material simulation. Completed testing and data analysis efficiently for quick delivery to clients.-Worked independently to find creative solutions for several in-house projects for R&D and marketing purposes.

-Led group of 12 student organization members to design and build a low-cost surgical lamp that was donated and approved for use at St. Paul’s Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Reduced cost to less than half of typical surgical lamps sold in the US.-Developed plans for semiweekly group meetings to ensure effective use of time and limited club resources.-Reviewed and provided feedback on mechanical, electrical, and lighting designs proposed by group members. Made parts orders based on proposed design ideas and kept a budget of all project expenses.
