Field Geologist
Collected samples throughout the drilling process utilizing a splitspoon and accurately logged and labeled all samples. Oversaw the drilling of 50-120 foot holes and gathered samples at the 5’ marks. Led the completion of comprehensive logs and worked closely with management teams to provide clients with the accurate data.• Provided high-level support throughout the drilling process, including loading pipes, operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, and securing materials; maintained compliance with strict regulations• Consistently assumed increasing roles and responsibilities; utilized heavy equipment, machinery, and tools to repair / maintain pumps and pipes and led the grinding, sandblasting, and painting processes• Supported the sieving of sand samples which were collected during the drilling process; assisted in determining the amount and size of sand grains in the sample and presented detailed information• Worked closely with cross-functional teams and external personnel to ensure seamless execution of practices and maintain timely completion of direct projects; provided strategic guidance and support
