The end result was a seamless flow that let the analysts pull the most urgent cases from the queue, lock themselves to a given case, and take actions while providing an audit trail of case history. The project aggregated data from multiple services and required coordination and discovery with multiple other teams.

The product I worked on, Bridge, is an employment development tool that makes it easy for companies to invest in their employees.Most of my time at Instructure was on Bridge's integrations team, focused on things like authentication and third-party plugin support. Later on I worked on Bridge's admin-facing things. I regularly used React, Rails, and SQL.My workflow included working closely with my product manager, writing comprehensive tests, and participating in code reviews. Beyond this workflow, I constantly looked for inefficiencies and built scripts/tooling to fix them.

Gamestride Studios was a side project with a simple focus: build simple and fun mobile games that look really, really good. My first and only game, Ahhh-round, was built in December 2015 and sold to Qeue Games in April 2017.

Instructure is an EdTech company that specializes in building LMSs. The product I worked on, Bridge, is a corporate LMS that makes it easy for companies to teach employees.I worked on the integrations team, where I built front-end features, server-side endpoints, and external services.

Rivet was a mobile app focused on one-on-one conversations between users near each other. It allowed you to view others' conversations and start your own.I helped come up with the initial idea and was a leader in the team throughout the company's history. I built the back-end, helped shape the product's design, and fully created both native versions of the app from the ground up (iOS and Android). Additionally, I created a web admin tool that allowed easy monitoring and control of the product. While working there I constantly iterated on the product, fixed issues, handled server deployments, and monitored product usage.
