Universe was successfully acquired by Ticketmaster/Livenation in 2015. As part of the transition team I have worked on integrating Universe.com systems and well as building systems at Ticketmaster scale. I have gained significant front end and back end experience with a focus on DevOps.A short list of projects include:- Co-lead on implementation of oauth.ticketmaster.com- Co-lead of React Checkout experience for ticketmaster.com- Developed regression testing framework for a varnish CDN and transitioned universe.com (web+api)- Developed a lambda and kinesis based tool for validating product saleability on e-comm websitesDevops focus:- Transitioned infrastructure to be managed by terraform- Achieved rapid scaling for onsales through the use of packer for machine images- Transitioned application stack to kubernetes- Developed framework for doing branch based deployments of the entire application stack

Full stack web development with collaborations on underlying open source projects. Front-end experience includes creating multiple single page applications, primarily using the Angular.JS framework. Back-end experience includes migrating from a monolithic server architecture to a Node.JS based micro-service architecture. Strong focus on test driven, and behaviour driven development. Developed tools to support feature acceptance and continuous delivery. DevOps experience on multiple cloud platforms, supporting scaling to 300K+ clients.

Assisted start-up companies in realizing their product vision through analysis, product management, development and testing. Key experience includes managing off-shore teams, and leading development of a product on multiple platforms (web, mobile, embedded).

Lead Developer for three software projects delivered to support both research and common services at the National Microbiology Laboratory. Published author on publication detailing data capture applications in a high containment environment. Lead software development life cycle from concept to ongoing support.

Developed and implemented a workflow for systematically documenting and upgrading each web page of gov.mb.ca to a new web template. Also implemented a web based solution for indexing documents which tied into an existing billing system and leveraged the Google Search Appliance.

Initiated marking rubric to help students understand and improve their marks. Asked to represent the faculty at both university and industry functions.

Awarded grant to develop proof-of-concept signature recognition application.
