Most recently, I was recruited by Tullett Prebon, one of the world’s leading interdealer brokers with headquarters in London and offices in 23 countries. As senior Credit Repurchase Broker, my task was to build and grow the Global Credit Finance trading desk’s business and increase the New York presence for this London-based broker. I matched buyers and sellers of emerging markets sovereign bonds, investment, and noninvestment grade corporate bonds.* Increased revenue by adding key accounts and introducing Tullett Prebon to firms in other markets.* Expedited payment to accounts receivable from an average of nine months to three months by simplifying invoices and matching billing form to customers’ needs.* Improved accuracy and verification of brokers’ performance through design of Excel spreadsheet that consolidated daily production details. New system led to greater revenues since brokers could more-easily identify underperforming accounts.

That led to a promotion as OTC Equity Derivatives Broker (2007 to 2009) to help grow the equity derivatives business. I earned steady and rapid promotions from Trading Assistant, Foreign Exchange Group (1993 to 1995) to Foreign Exchange Trader, Emerging Markets Group (1995 to 1996) and then Emerging Market Repurchase Trader (1996 to 1999). During my career with Lehman, I directed emerging markets proprietary and repurchase positions in multiple currencies.* Provided a high volume of customer liquidity by financing foreign, local, and structured products for clients.* Managed proprietary trading positions in Latin America (Argentina, Chile, and Mexico), Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Turkey), and South Africa.* Improved trading strategies through research and market analysis.* Developed and executed trades in exotic currencies, currency futures, and foreign bonds.
