An Information Presenter for the Gettysburg College Office of Admissions is the face of the student body to prospective and accepted students during their college searching process. During a campus visit or an online information session, the Information Presenter speaks alongside an Admissions Counselor to give the prospective or accepted student information that is relevant in their final college decision making process. Not only does one need to be an adept public speaker, but it is important to be able to accurately understand and respond to any concerns that students or their parents have. Additionally, Information Presenters are crucial in having one on one interpersonal conversations about their own experiences at the college so that the prospective or accepted student wants to become a Gettysburg College student themselves. Information Presenters work closely with tour guides to provide critical information and assuage the apprehension and nervousness that the college decision making process has on high school juniors and seniors.

Because I am from San Diego, California, I work closely with the Admission Representative for the West Coast to reach out to students in my home area to expand the regional diversity within our undergraduate student population.

I assisted the attorney preparing immigration cases for court by doing research on both State of California and U.S. Federal Court precedents. By using my research and relevant Department of Homeland Security memos, I drafted motions to terminate immigration proceedings. Additionally, I helped prepare guardianship documents for Special Immigrant Juvenile Findings and filing Petitions for Special Immigrant Juveniles and Adjustment of Status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. I also worked closely with Ukrainian, Filipino, and South American immigrants who are trying to get work authorization from the federal government. Furthermore, I expedited citizenship forms (N-400 and N-600) and Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relatives.

I worked with and prepared the Assistant District Attorney handling a homicide trial. This included organizing thousands of pages of document discovery and hours of digital discovery and creating trial exhibits from that discovery such as PowerPoints and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets that were then used by the Commonwealth in trial. Additionally I worked closely with the other four Assistant District Attorneys to prepare various smaller cases for trial by drafting motions and researching current case law to challenge the defense in hearings.

Beginning in late 2018 I worked at Chick-fil-A Carmel Mountain in San Diego, CA. Over the next year, I progressed through the franchise becoming a Senior Team Member tasked with opening the front of the store five days of the week. Working through the Covid-19 pandemic as an essential worker, I was relied upon to hold my other Team Members to the standards of cleanliness that were necessary.
