For over a year, I have worked as a Graphic Designer at SB Nation. In that position, I produce a lot of graphics for the website and social media while adhering to our brand guidelines, which have increased engagement across all platforms. I have also worked as a Graphic Design Intern at SDI Innovations, and as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Greater Lafayette Commerce.I hold Bachelor’s degrees in both Visual Communications Design and in Philosophy. While studying design, I learned the design fundamentals, including layout and typography and a lot of the other rules in design. Studying philosophy taught me problem solving and critical thinking, and instilled in me the mindset to break those design rules.I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign, ensuring that I can seamlessly navigate the design process and deliver high-quality results. I also have experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Figma. My experience extends to motion design, UI/UX design, photography, branding, video editing, social media content design and strategy, and more.Beyond my technical skills, I possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. I thrive in fast-paced environments and am accustomed to working under tight deadlines, consistently delivering collateral while maintaining a keen eye for detail. I have excellent organizational and time management skills, allowing me to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. I am highly motivated, which leads me to constantly learn new skills and improve my abilities in design. In addition, I am an adept problem solver, something I attribute to my critical thinking skills I honed while pursuing my BA in Philosophy.
