I graduated college with a keen interest in graphics and was hired for my skills in C++ and graphics. Within two years I rose to become graphics/UI deputy lead to help support the team lead with 14 direct reports. Within this timeframe I adapted to cross team challenges and mentored junior engineers within an agile process. Two years later, my knowledge of the processes of how to lead effectively while my domain knowledge grew allowed me to become deputy lead software engineer. I supported the software lead in directing around 80 direct reports in fulfilling timelines and features within an agile process.
