Co-FounderGood Design Sf Jun 2014 - Jun 2020In 2014, Good Design was founded by Bill Worthen and Kyle Pickett with the purpose of making coworking accessible to architects, engineers, and construction-focused professionals. Coworking spaces have enormous potential to be modern design guilds for the industry, bringing together professionals to share resources, collaborate, and offer flexible work environments that allow small firms to grow quickly in boom times and scale back when necessary. There is just one problem — coworking spaces don’t have the amenities AEC professionals need. Enter Good Design.Good Design partners with coworking spaces to provide the AEC amenities we use every day. Our pilot partnership is with Covo, the newest coworking space from coworking powerhouse Rebecca Brian Pan. It’s her 10th coworking space, and thanks to Good Design is the first to incorporate a full suite of AEC amenities! As the first coworking space in the country that really understands the need of the AEC community, Covo is chock full of architects, designers, engineers, and other industry professionals!More than just beautiful design and AEC amenities, Good Design offers a modern take on the design guild. In partnership with Good Design, Covo is the place for the AEC community to meet and learn from one another. Good Design will be curating ongoing lectures and training at Covo focused on what the design community and our clients need to know about performance, beauty, value, resiliency, durability, net zero energy, water reuse, living walls and roofs, wellness, comfort and universal design. Members can stay up to-date on the design concepts that clients and high performance building codes require without ever leaving their workspace. We invite you to experience Good Design and consider joining Covo’s growing community.
