A fulfilling, diverse role with a variety of projects. In my time as a Senior Application Engineer, I have taken on projects in the role of designer, engineer, and manager. The breadth of work is typically for enterprise level organizations on a national scale.A majority of projects focus on implementation of cloud solutions through the Microsoft Cloud. These solutions include API Management, Web Applications, Automation, Databases/Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence, Workflows, Customer Relationship Management, and Collaboration.Other areas of work include specialized IT consulting, website development, .NET Application development, and visual/ interface design. Internal business development activities include development of branding and marketing materials as well as resources to improve productivity.At 3Cloud, I have had the opportunity to broaden my skills as a cloud professional. Completed work on an integrated website for a pharmacy. This project has focused on reinventing the business's web presence while enabling significantly better site management. Other client services such as employee email configuration, media design, and HIPAA compliant security implementations have been performed.Completed developing a non-profit website in all aspects including but not limited to branding, marketing, design, usability, and sustainability. This system is highly expandable, fast, and very effectively tailored to the client's business needs. Currently, the system has doubled productivity of the business as well as reduced human error within their inventory processes.

Both software and hardware implementation is involved as well as utilizing cross-platform technologies. This full time internship exposed me to a professional, corporate environment. I taught myself various dynamic web design skills in order to redesign the entire back-end of a website. I also vastly extended and restructured a content management system and database for easy updating.www.connectedmed.comAs a supplemental project, I expanded my Geographic Information Systems skills by creating an interactive layout of the Center for Connected Medicine.

For several semesters, I have tutored for the Computing and Information Studies (CIS) department at Washington and Jefferson College. This mentoring focuses on effective communication of course concepts and good practices in computing in a one-on-one and group setting. The courses covered are: Intro to Programming [Java], Database Concepts, and Web Design & Development. Along with those, I provide general help for the rest of the CIS courses.

While working with the campus botanist and a database administrator at Washington and Jefferson College, I created an extensive Geographic Information System and Database that accurately stored many data for all of the campus trees.Continuing development on the project, I designed an informational academically focused website to promote the arboretum. Since the website's publication, other interns have taken over development responsibilities. I also participated in recruitment of volunteers for future expansion and development. I was a member of the Arboretum Advisory Committee, which consisted of 10 faculty, staff, students, and community members. This board coordinates all aspects of the ongoing project.

This research position focused on useability studies. For the first half of my work, I performed data analysis for a mobile app project that was designed to determine if the use of portable, digital technologies would improve a student's knowledge retention. Further studies are needed to support findings. For the second half of my work, I assembled intricate eye-tracking equipment and assisted in the design of a test project to demonstrate that technology. This will be used for future studies and courses at Washington and Jefferson College.
