www.kylechan.comMr. Kyle Chan has over 13 years of experience in the architectural field and has been a licensed architect since 2008. He has participated in and completed a wide range of projects including commercial shell buildings, retail, office tenant improvements, and new residential homes and remodels. His notable projects include Town & Country Shopping Center, Panda Express and the AT&T retail store, all of which are located in Palo Alto, CA.Born and raised in Hong Kong, Kyle moved to the US with his parents in 1996. He was educated at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) and Cornell University. He travelled throughout Europe and stayed in Rome for half a year, learning about and sketching great buildings. In 2003, after graduating from Cornell with a professional degree in architecture, he moved to the Bay Area, practicing architecture with renowned firms in the Palo Alto area.Kyle has worked with different municipalities, from the East Bay to peninsula cities. He is specifically knowledgeable in the cities of Palo Alto and San Jose.Kyle's philosophy is that a building should represent a client's vision, lifestyle, and everyday needs. He believes that a great project requires clear communication between the client, the architect and the contractor. Besides designing great buildings, his mission is to guide and educate his clients through the entire construction process to minimize any miscommunications with the contractor.Kyle is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
