About Kyle Koskela
I started my career in Aviation in 2006 at Summit Aeronautical Group while attending the University of Montana Helena College of Technology. I started in the hand finish department blending machine lines in titanium aircraft components, I later moved to the assembly department where I installed hardware on these same component. In 2007 I graduated with my Associates of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. I moved to Horizon Airlines as a heavy check technician on Bombardier's Q200, Q400, and CRJ700. in 2011 I moved to the United States Air Force where I was a Dedicated Crew Chief on the U2S/T platforms. At the end of 2016 I transitioned to the civilian roll as a flight test engine mechanic for Rolls Royce. In October 2017 I moved to line maintenance with Compass Airlines where I perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Embraer E175.
