I am a recent graduate from McMaster University, where I studied Electrical Engineering during my undergraduate degree. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, also at McMaster. My research is in the design and control of multiport DC-DC converters for electric vehicle applications.After my third year of studies during my undergrad, I decided to take a year off of school and work in several co-op placements for 16 months. Most recently prior to graduate school, I worked in Ottawa at Nokia as an IPR Hardware Developer Engineer Co-op for 4 months in the summer term.
