As the Director of Automation & Innovation, I provide expertise and actionable guidance to management through the assembly, analysis, and action of data. Additionally, I am responsible for leading the organization to the next level of technological advances and translating those advancements to create a digital experience that drives revenue. To accomplish these goals I work to develop strong relationships with internal departments and lines of business to understand business rules, key performance indicators, strategies, and plans.

To put it as simply as possible, I answer questions.The longer answer is that I manage requests for reports and analyses from the various business units within Scott Credit Union. I also assist in the development and implementation of tools to help better manage and utilize the enterprise data of the organization.

As the Marketing Analyst at Scott Credit Union, I am responsible for reporting the success of marketing campaigns to senior leadership using both internal and external data sources including Google Analytics, social media metrics, our MCIF system, and other sources. I also provide data to senior management for key decisions on product design, placement, pricing, and promotional efforts. I direct our automated email marketing campaigns based on member behavior. I also direct all digital marketing efforts including search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click advertising campaigns. Finally, I coordinate our overall website direction to best optimize for conversions from paid and organic traffic.

Responsibilities include conducting online promotions using pay per click campaigns, advertisements, social media and email marketing to better market Scott Credit Union products and services to current and potential members. Plan and direct the design, promotions and ongoing maintenance of the Scott Credit Union websites. Work alongside the IT department and other marketing staff on special projects including website redesign and new online product or service offerings. Coordinate direct mail campaigns with direct mail agency. Report the overall success of all online marketing campaigns with the Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer.

As a Marketing Consultant, I assisted Walters Golf Management and their portfolio of courses with the various duties I performed while working for the company full time. I assisted the courses with their email marketing campaigns from design and list segmentation to overall email strategy.

Responsibilities included direct oversight of the digital, print & social media marketing for 12 golf courses in the St. Louis area; creative work for print and digital advertisements; direct oversight of the golf courses’ websites, as well as the management company’s website; training new employees on computer systems used for marketing, websites and day-to-day operations; build and maintain relationships with vendors for marketing & advertising, and management of special projects.

Responsibilities included ensuring excellent customer service at the point of sale by overseeing day-to-day operations; management of outside service staff; management of tournament operations; assisted the Head Golf Professional with merchandising and marketing; and assisted in budgeting for the fiscal year.
