-Launched and coordinated IT Literacy Outreach Program in July of 2011, training over 5,700 community participants in over 800 trainings in Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee Counties.-Instructed courses including, but not limited to, Introduction to Computers, Introduction to the Web, Microsoft Office 2010, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, LinkedIn, Internet Security, iPad Fundamentals, and Employability Skills (resumes, cover letters, etc.).-Established business relationships and partnership activities by networking throughout the community.-Spoke to over 800 6th-12th grade students on the importance of leaving a clean "digital footprint" and taking consideration before posting content on social media sites.-Implemented various means of marketing to expand the target market and increase enrollment in courses.-Marketed the program through various forms of media to maximize the number of attendees and sponsors.-Developed and enhanced courses to assist learners better understand modern technology systems.-Monitored student progress to track information needed for the grant, distributed by the Department of Commerce.-Grant-funded position that expired on December 31, 2012.
