PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT:-After a 15+ year hiatus, worked with Experience Jackson, the Downtown Development Authority, and Gus Macker to bring the legendary 3-on-3 tournament back to the streets of Jackson.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (3):-Collaborate with Experience Jackson and community partners on fundraising, recruitment, and planning initiatives.-Develop a plan to bring 250+ teams from across Southern Michigan to Jackson to compete in the annual event.-Team up with a planning committee, interns and volunteers to plan and orchestrate the tournament throughout the spring / summer.FUN FACTS:-After hosting tournaments in my parents driveway growing up, managing a Gus Macker tournament in Jackson grew to be a top item on my professional bucket list, which will be checked off on July 15, 2018.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (4):-Prepared students for professional opportunities, from resume development through one-on-one advising.-Collaborated with employer to develop recruitment strategies to connect with Spartan Engineers.-Visited over 350 employer sites to connect with students, mentors, and recruiters to generate better connects with companies nationwide.-Planed the Spring Break Corporate Tour, MSU Co-op / Intern Exchange, Detroit Semester, Jackson Semester, Kalamazoo Semester, and San Francisco Semester and other crazy shenanigans throughout the couple years to engage students, employers, and alumni.FUN FACTS (2):-Worked on a dynamic team of professionals and student career peers that brought as their energy, creativity, and new perspectives to the collaborative environment.-Served as the Faculty / Staff Advisor for the Spartan Ski Club, the 1,400+ due-paying member student organization, which is possibly the largest single-university student group in the nation.

PROUDEST ACHIEVEMENT:-Expanded festival attendance by 375% and increased net profit by 5,200% in a 5-year-span.-Initiated a revised sponsorship plan to generate new relationships and funding streams to companies of all sizes across the county, grossing approximately $100k in the first year.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (4):-Directed the Art, Beer and Wine Festival, which brought in over 150 vendors and 5,500 guests to the Museum grounds.-Worked directly with business and community partners to promote festivals and enhance activities that are being held at the Museum.-Designed and implemented a strategic plan for budgeting, marketing, vendor relations, and volunteer management for the fundraising event.-Planned the festival remotely, allowing for digital project management and teleconferencing for planning throughout the year.FUN FACT:-The festival has transformed from a decent-sized museum event to a "must-attend" bash in South Central Michigan.

-Instuct a range of computer courses; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Documents, Social Media, Online Shopping, etc.-Courses run through Corporate and Continuing Education Department of Jackson Community College and are independant two hour sessions at an affordable cost.

-Coordinated grant activities on a part-time basis.-Identified, purchased and maintained a record of expenses incurred for the program, including, but not limited to, training equipment, supplies, and travel expenses.-Oversaw scheduling of classes at the JCC's "House of Pressure" and community venues.-Monitored student progress through consultation with adjunct instructors.-Assisted with marketing efforts to contact potential participants.-Screened, selected, and collaborated with potential instructors to host the training's in the program, including Single Family Auditor, Certified Renovator, OSHA 10, Heartsaver CPR AED / First Aid, Introduction to Thermography, and Energy Modeling.
