It began at a startup medical device company (Acute Innovations) where he created the first purposefully collapsible and conformable bone fixation implant to give surgeons the flexibility they needed during surgery and uneventful outcomes that kept patients comfortable and have shorter hospital stays.It moved to the automation and product design world as a consultant where he was able to help companies to the likes of but not limited to: Hewlett Packard portable printers - designed/implemented the quietest paper pick system to be seen within that department, Georgia Pacific - designed a very unique and sanitary method to dispense cutlery, then his work at Oculus - creating hardware designs for optics that won the awe and inspiration of some of the biggest names in the tech world (definitely a highlight, but can't say too much about it.) Kyle turned his sights to passion and focused on an emerging market that is ripe for innovation and desperate for automation. Cannabis had always been a creative catalyst for him, and being a hands-on engineer the classic "joint" was a preferred method and allowed him to hone a craft or almost ritual to his occasional usage. Once he discovered the inconsistency and quality issues of conventional "cone stuffing" for creating pre-rolls, the target was set in his scopes and we were off to creating RollPros.
