Piloted projects elucidating the role of a signaling molecule, R-spondin, in enhancing fracture healing and bone formation through the Wnt pathway. Planned and executed injections, surgeries, and harvests for conditional KO mice, then conducted and interpreted microCT scans, histological stains, and RT-qPCR and flow cytometry analyses. Unveiled novel temporal and spatial effects of this protein - providing a basis for future therapeutic interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
