Our API powers the home tabs, explore tabs, and push notifications of the majority of the wallet apps in the industry (Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Zerion, OKX Web3 Wallet, and more) with personalized transaction recommendations: mints, claims, quests, dapps, swaps, and more. It’s “onchain for you” - like Netflix and Spotify’s home tabs, but with things to do onchain instead of movies or music.We already drive 5% of our wallet partners’ transacting users, and our mission is to drive 5% of all onchain GDP. Our founders have been working together in crypto for five years and on Daylight for two years, and we are backed by great funds like USV. We work on hard and interesting scaling and data problems, and we get to help everyone in crypto: from users to wallets to protocols to chains to creators.We are looking for two staff backend engineers with deep experience designing and scaling REST APIs. Our API serves tens of thousands of requests per second, summarizing millions of rows of offchain data and terabytes of onchain data in 750ms or less.The problems we work on are meat-and-potatoes software engineering: writing code understandable to others; optimizing Postgresql queries; tracing code paths for bottlenecks; getting the most out of AWS infrastructure.These are some things we believe in as a team:- Prioritizing the problems that most impact our goal- Minimizing distractions- Writing good tests- Communicating openly and directly- Everyone, and especially engineers, thinking about product and API design (the value to the customer)
