Leading finance at Two Chairs to deliver the nation’s best therapy at scale.

Led all finance and business development for Mandala Space Ventures (fka AstroLabs), a venture studio developing and launching disruptive technologies in the commercial space economy. Responsibilities included financial forecasting and reporting, strategic planning, fundraising, and operations.Also served as Head of Finance for Continuum Space Systems, the first portfolio company launched from Mandala Space Ventures. Continuum is democratizing access to space by building a cloud based Space-as-a-Service platform for companies to design and execute space missions. Played a critical role in Continuum’s formation and structuring, business model development, financial planning, fundraising (seed round completed in early 2021), and establishing initial anchor customer relationships.

My role encompassed a broad range of responsibilities, spanning financial analysis, strategy, operations, and business development. For example: As the finance team's lead for various SpaceX customer programs, including the National Security Space Launch program with the U.S. Air Force and NASA’s Human Landing System, I partnered with the Mission Management, Engineering, and other teams to support missions from the initial proposal phase through rocket launch (and landing).

Planned and executed domestic and international transactions for corporate clients in the retail and consumer industries. My focus was primarily fixed income (ie. public and private debt, acquisition finance, interest rate derivatives, liability management, corporate credit facilities) and included in-depth analysis and strategic work related to M&A, capital structure, and global macroeconomic trends. I worked collaboratively with individuals at all levels of client organizations and internally, managing projects, delivering advice, and generally helping clients solve problems.

Joined the Private Capital Markets team to help companies originate, structure, and syndicate transactions. The group works with clients across all industries and leads transactions across the capital structure including private equity, debt, and PIPE offerings. My responsibilities included conducting competitive and comparable analysis, drafting client marketing materials, and reviewing transaction and legal documents.

Conducted fundamental company and industry analysis leveraging various methods, including discounted cash flow modeling, competitive industry analysis, and relative value studies to develop market insights and investment recommendations. After covering a variety of industries early in my career (consumer, retail, telecom, technology), I successfully initiated lead coverage responsibility for the internet and semiconductor equipment sectors, where my coverage included companies such as Google and Amazon.com. In this role, generated investment ideas, presented them to portfolio managers, and led meetings with senior executives of coverage companies in order to discuss key business and financial trends.
