Geologic Advisor - California Resources Corporation, Exploration Group• Planned and executed over 14 wells in Wilmington field, resulting in the three highest IPs of the program and a cumulative IP rate exceeding expected rates by approximately 900 BOPD.• Led a multidisciplinary team of geoscientists & engineers to build an inventory of 60+ executable prospects.• Built a robust 3D static model for a structurally complex area through the integration of surface geologic map, 3D & 2D seismic survey, well log, and dipmeter data, resulting in reduction of geologic uncertainty and identification of significant new resource potential.• Participated in numerous farm-out presentations to potential partners for high-risk exploration prospects, resulting in securing third-party funding for numerous projects and unlocking significant resource potential.

Research Geologist for Energy Resource Group – ODNR, Geologic Survey• Interpreted stratigraphic framework for Devonian section across Eastern Ohio. Identified ‘pay zones for five organic-rich shale intervals and developed a data acquisition program for source rock analyses. These data were combined in a series of maps to aid in understanding the unconventional resource potential of the Devonian in eastern Ohio.• Interpreted the stratigraphic framework of Mississippian through Cambrian formations across the Appalachian Basin and generated a consistent set of structure and isochore maps to aid in identifying ethane storage candidates, ultimately leading to a 2017 report to Congress and a verbal commitment of $84 Bn. from China (ASH project).

Exploration/Operations Geologist for International and Offshore Exploration• Integrated coarse 2D seismic grid with surface geologic maps and well control to generate a robust 3D static model for Marathon’s operated fields in Kurdistan, Iraq• Deterministically calculated reserves for Marathon’s operated fields in Kurdistan, Iraq using the static model in Petrel• Responsible for wellsite operations (pick casing & core points, design and QC logging suites, sample description, etc) on two wildcat exploration wells and one appraisal well in Kurdistan Iraq.• Integrated 3D seismic, well log, geochemical, and engineering data to construct a 3D static reservoir model, for a Wilcox prospect in Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, maturing the prospect to near drill-ready status.• Provided wellsite and office-based geologic operations for Maersk Valiant drill ship targeting a deepwater Wilcox prospect. Provided insight to the drilling team regarding the geologic stresses in the wellbore, leading to a reduction in mud weight and successful completion of the hole section.

Exploration/Operations Geologist – Anadarko Basin• Planned well locations though structural interpretations, cross-sections, well log correlations. • Identified shallow hazards and effectively communicated hazards to drilling. • Incorporated seismic, petrophysical, and geologic data to plan horizontal well paths.• Analyzed non-operated and company-operated wells through geosteering/landing zone analysis and compared the results to production to determine best target zones across the play.• Supervised and coordinated efforts (from a subsurface standpoint) in logging, drilling, and other data gathering activities.• Used well logs and seismic data to build stratigraphic frameworks and depositional models.• Built petrophysical model in Prizm in a challenging lithologic system.• Mapped: Structure, Isopach, Net/Gross, OGIP.• Identified areas of high potential for acreage acquisition.
