The nation's original (and most fun!) storage and organization store. I earned certification for planning customer home spaces, including closets and storage, acted as store manager to solve customer problems, expedite daily tasks, and lead staff, assisted customers with purchases on the sales floor, including our POS system, machined, assembled, & delivered customer orders, and maintained in-store organization.

A modern hotel, catering mainly to luxury and business travelers, especially those visiting from Japan and Korea. I fielded customer calls about reservations, rates, room availability, and billing, navigated myriad available room rates to find the best ones for our customers, advocated for customers with third-party reservations services.

A non-profit car sharing organization dedicated to reducing the number of cars on the road. I coordinated repair, cleaning, and placement for a fleet of 70 cars, worked with members on customer-service and billing issues, collected usage logs from vehicles, and communicated regularly with partner service providers.

A newly-formed coalition of existing neighborhood Y facilities, joined to share resources, talent, and staff. I managed an after-school program for 6th and 7th graders, both at the Y facility and in a neighborhood school, planned Friday evening activities to involve students in fun, safe activities at the Y, and began development of a new communication network among the staff at the various locations, newly joined into one staff.

A hands-on science museum, dedicated to fostering the public's interest in and knowledge of science and technology. I managed, trained, and supervised a staff of five part-time educators, wrote, produced, and performed live science demonstrations, organized many free public events including a 28-hour Centennial celebration coordinating with four other museums, and worked well beyond job description as part of a dynamic, flexible team.

The nation's only 2-state YMCA, dedicated solely to leadership and service training for high school and middle school students. I developed statewide youth leadership programming, coordinated more than 30 youth conferences, produced various original workshops on leadership, service, and self-esteem, and acted as emcee for hundreds of large and small presentations and activities.
