In the Advance Planning Group at Jacobs my work covers a variety of consulting services including facility programming, space planning, business strategy, and master planning. In this role I work closely with my team and clients through face-to-face interviews and design charrettes to document needs, analyze data, and propose and evaluate solutions. I am recognized as a strong force in my group, leading and training teams of my peers and pursuing unique projects with the ability to quickly adapt and delight our client. I am experienced in leading work on multi-billion dollar programs for a client portfolio that includes federal government, Department of Defense, state and local government, and corporate organizations. Jacobs is a relationship-based company, and I am well-experienced in exceeding client expectations and selling additional services.

Greater New Orleans Area

At the TRUDC I worked on a National Endowment for the Arts funded project at the site of a 19th century slave market in Natchez, Mississippi producing design concepts, diagrams, and sketches for an interpretive museum and park. This work involved community workshops in Natchez in which the design team and I worked with community members to ensure that design strategies were in accordance with their vision for this historically significant site.

Shanghai, China

As a summer intern in WWCOT's Shanghai office I was fully immersed in the Chinese culture working with a team almost entirely of Chinese nationals and living in a typical Shanghai neighborhood. The experience was extremely valuable in growing my skills in adaptation and flexibility to adjust to the challenges of working in an entirely unfamiliar environment. During my time there I designed two residential prototypes for a tourist resort development near Shanghai. I also worked closely with my design team in creating site layout and landscaping concepts. I attended and presented at various business meetings held in Shanghai and around China, gaining valuable insight into the business culture and rapidly expanding market there.

Pensacola, Florida Area

At this position I worked on a renovation and addition project to the historic, 1920's-era Saenger Theater in Pensacola. I developed construction documents, performed site surveys of existing conditions, and designed interior details for the theater.My coworkers were delighted with the quality and efficiency of my work and the ease with which I picked up new skills as a first time intern. I was invited back for full-time employment at any point in the future.
