Work on the Data Science team at Dstillery, a custom audience data provider in the programmatic digital advertising space. Tasks include building and deploying custom audiences for clients, providing marketing materials in the form of deep-dive analyses, and leveraging data for better decision making processes across the organization.Leading project to build out business intelligence tool for internal use. Built database that integrates data from Salesforce, raw syndication data from other data feeds, and other external data sources. Constructed ETL tools to stream in daily data, normalize and clean data, and aggregate into final tables for use in dashboards. Cross functional consultation has lead to additional projects using database including forecasting tool, establishing new sales metrics, customer lifetime value, etc.

Worked on Europe's largest software and hardware migration for secure account. Evaluated process through interviews with stakeholders and evaluation of previously existing technologies to map out end to­ end migration lifecycle. Built database and front­end tool with data feeds from multiple data sources to provide accurate, realtime data that is continuously validated. Significantly reduced manual effort and improved performance of existing document generation to reduce migration failures resulting in over $500k of savings and opening up business opportunities for future large­ scale migrations.Led Data Engineering team during six­ month Pro Bono project for Everytown for Gun Safety to build application for the import and export of polling data, as well as visualization of trends and aggregate statistics, related to gun control in the United States. Responsible for schematization and building PostgreSQL database of over 4000 polls, as well as writing backend code for the app and web scraping team (to upload data). Database included free­-text search capabilities populated by trigger functions and dynamically updating tables recalculated on Redis server. Work was done in remote environment using technologies that include AWS, Flask, Python, Redis, Jinja and SQLAlchemy. Also, participated on team that won United Nation’s Unite Ideas Competition and was invited to U.N.Wrote software to ingest data and produce interactive dashboards in Plotly to share with various account managers at Fortune 500 ITSM corporation. Focus was on digitilization and cost reduction of operations. For these analyses, developed process mining algorithms to improve the client level performance against SLAs and clustering algorithms using NLP that assisted in the elimination of repetitive work by IT agents. Built and presented analyses to client frequently.

Selected from Data Science Immersive cohort to serve as an assistant instructor for subsequent course. Led review sessions on Data Science topics covered during course including the concepts and theories behind machine learning, data visualization, statistics, web scraping, relational databases and programming (Python).Provided one­on­one mentoring sessions and created new content and teaching materials for use during class. Reviewed projects and monitored development of cohort, liaising with General Assembly's Outcomes team and upper management. Approximately 75% of class went on to work in some data related field. Active in the General Assembly community having returned for several recruiting and alumni events.

General Assembly’s Data Science Immersive (DSI) is a 12-week long boot camp in which fellows are trained to analyze, make sense of, convey data-driven facts from massive data sets and predict what happens next through predictive modeling and pattern recognition. Capstone project was a hybrid movie recommendation engine named Movielect. Model employed a variety of machine learning tools such as vectorizer, term frequency-inverse document frequency, linear regression, and a clustering algorithm to calculate cosine distances. Strategic management of international equity funds with assets totaling approximately USD $50 million. Track record of success in portfolio management, in 2015 every fund finished the year in the top quartile of its class in Chile. Quantitative and qualitative independent research was presented on a weekly basis to managers. Presentations covered the macroeconomic, political, and financial events of the prior week, as well as the results of proprietary models, such as performance attribution, efficient frontier, and momentum, among others.Responsible for calculating positions in funds, maintaining positive cash balance in pesos and dollars, trading, foreign exchange, legal controls, reporting monthly results to investors, and analyzing our competitors. Led the merger of two funds.

Compiled and analyzed historical economic data for South American countries and other developing markets throughout the world. Created database of projected inflation in Argentina and that reported by INDEC. Collaborated with group of economists to prepare monthly presentations for clients/translated them into English.
