- Work collaboratively with team to plan large scale festivals, mobile tours and corporate events. -Responsible for creative experience design, site design & layout, environmental design, creative concepts. -Build and manage portion of event budget, vendor research, contract negotiations and vendor management.-Have a strong knowledge in event planning, event production, logistics planning, staff training, staff management, venue research and site visits. -Build, maintain and nurture client relationships. -Manage event sponsorships from the planning process to day of execution. -Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while delivering high quality results.

The MASI (Mason Autism Support Initiative) program at George Mason University is a program offered through Disability Services which offers individualized, comprehensive social and academic supports to motivated Mason students with autism spectrum disorder in order to guide them through the transition into university life and assist them in building skills necessary for success in the university environment and beyond.

Counseling middle school (6th, 7th & 8th grade) students who have been diagnosed with an Emotional Disability. -Advising students in social/emotional well being and skills-Using coping stratagies and interventions with students.-Writing students goals for each childs Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and providing them the necessary skills and abilities to meet their goals.

-Co-teach Special Education/ General Education classes – Collaborate with a general education teacher to support students in a large class setting. -Science Department Chair (Co-chair) – Create agendas for monthly meetings, work as a team to create innovative ideas for lessons throughout the Science curriculum. -Science Night Chairperson- (two years) planned all logistics, signage, and collaborated with other staff to produce an easily navigated event. 8th Grade Science Team Lead – Manage the 8th grade science team to achieve our in class goals and meet school wide expectations. -Fast paced environment – constantly modifying curriculum and classroom instructions to meet my special education students individual needs. -Develop specialized behavior/academic plans to meet the needs of students receiving special education support.-Assist special education students with daily social/emotional/academic needs

-Led a 21 day community service trip in California with one staff member and 10 teenage trip members.-Managed one staff member.-Made the trip itinerary manageable for day to day efficiency – e.g. contacting vendors, securing reservations, managed daily finances.-Created meal plans for trip members each day.
