About Dr Kylene Quinn
I have a passion for education and teaching students having been a Business Professor since receiving my Phd. I also love volunteer travel opportunities having lead trips for Habitat for Humanity International to 7 countries.. I have visited 50+ countries in my life so far.I enjoy leading groups of students overseas in the summer months. in 2011 I led a group from Antioch University to Peru for 2 weeks, In 2012 I joined a group to hike the Dolomite Mts in Italy and study Emotional Intelligence.Specialties: I have taken leadership positions as a Business Dept Chair, Director of Faculty and Curriculum Developer for BS,MBA and Phd programs throughout the NW and overseas at Dublin University.My other professional experience includes working in the field of Marketing for 10 years for Exxon and Sony in sales, as well as teaching for 20+ years. Once in Beijing ChinaI plan to continue teaching and taking volunteer vacation/study tours as long as possible as there is nothing better than working with young people!Married 25 years to Peter Quinn, with one son, Loren. I am now single, retired in Astoria OR, I love the beach. I became a Master Gardener through OSU and am involved with the Columbia River Maritime Museum. I teach part time at Clatsop College and enjoy walks on the beach with my golden retriever Maxx.
