On a daily basis I would manipulate data on spreadsheets to report the previous days trading for executives and I help with filing our Daily Segregated, Secured 30.7 and Sequestered Statements for the CME. On a monthly basis, during the first two weeks of the month I will work on paying customers and allocating offices interest for the previous month. With interest rates increasing, I have been very busy with this process. I would then work on customer payouts and manager shares for the previous months trading and activity they had in order for RCG to pay them. I will answer calls and questions when necessary to customers/clients about their accounts and other monthly reports, like the payouts and manager shares. I do monthly account reconciliations. I also allocate fees to the manager shares that RCG pays upfront and we need to get reimbursed for them. I am learning a lot about futures trading and the accounting for them.
