* NCAAB Playable Brackets 2015 – Led development of user-generated March Madness brackets on an aggressive eight-week timeline. The system implements an internal user service for email and social login. JSON endpoints create, edit, and retrieve pools and brackets. The frontend is a plugin addition to our sports Wordpress instance, and jQuery and underscore.js handle the UX. Brackets render scores in real-time and indicate users’ correct/incorrect picks. Pool standings update brackets’ points and points remaining. Clicking a game opens a detailed box score page. User experiences are altered based on logged-in state and the timing of the tournament.* Daily Fantasy Sports League Tools – Designed interactive tables for Player Rankings, Depth Charts, and Average Draft Position. Tables leverage Underscore.js to allow users to manipulate the displayed data. Regularly ensure accurate translation of projections from third-party data feeds to our internal APIs. Constructed a JSON feed of fantasy player news by mapping our custom taxonomy of IDs to a parsed feed from 3rd party fantasy news sites including RT Sports and KFFL.
