Working in ArcSight Professional Services aiding customers to leverage their ArcSight product set:Responsibilities include a wide range of activities on ArcSight Professional Services engagements including requirements analysis, use case assessments, strategy development, and solution designProvide support for ArcSight, including installation, deployment, operations and maintenance activities. Perform as the subject matter expert on ArcSight products and industry best practices around Security Operations for customers.Advise customers on best practices and use cases on how to use ArcSight to achieve customer end state requirements.Install and configure core products (ESM, Logger, Transformation Hub, Investigate, Connectors, UBA) on supported platforms (Linux, Solaris, Windows, etc.)Development of flex connectors Define, design and implement use cases across all ArcSight components

Sat within cloud enablement guiding a team of engineers in developing security controls in a cloud environmentPreviously primarily responsible for management and improvement of the organisations’ vulnerability management and SIEM platforms.Implementing change, making platforms more efficient and improve ease of use.Interacting with other teams to improve the collaborative use of tools in other business areas.Working with project teams to provide service assurance, providing guidance and ensuring that projects are delivered with adequate security controls in place.Adapting and implementing new security controls to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards including PCI DSS and GDPR.Communicating IT security issues and managing risk with non-technical audiences.Interacting with and managing managed service providers to deliver new functionality in existing tools.Arranging 3rd party suppliers to perform penetration tests of new applications and infrastructure within the bank.Aiding with the organisations’ management of certificates.CyberArk support and administration.Managing WAF proxies including layer 7 DDoS mitigation.
