My career has been a journey of lifelong learning, leading, and growing. I've consistently been given new challenges to build, grow, and lead new businesses. I've done this in a variety of functions and industries. I've held Sales, Marketing, Finance, and General Management roles, and have worked in Technology, Recruiting, E-Learning, Learning & Development, Financial Services, & Employee Wellbeing & Benefits. A few highlights:- Led and rebuilt organization that grew from $10M to $100M in 3 years. - Built & led team that grew from $8M to $300M in 5 years. - Top performer (IC and Manager) on team that was part of business that grew from $150M to $3B in 4 years. - Hired hundreds of high quality team members.- Led fantastic teams ranging from 7 to 100 members. Through all of these experiences, there are three key takeaways that I continue to apply to every business I'm involved with. 1: Relationships Matter: It's all about people. Team members, clients, customers, partners, everyone you interact with, treat them right and good things will happen. 2: If You're Not Growing, You're Dying: It applies to business, plants, and life. I'm a believer in #growthmindset and believe every professional should always be learning and growing and that every business should constantly be pushing for growth. 3: Measure what Matters and Win the Day: Understand the metrics that drive success and set specific goals that can be measured daily. Do those things every day with a growth mindset, and success will follow. When I'm not building businesses, I'm adventuring with my amazing wife and 5 fantastic kids in the mountains of Utah, or traveling as far as our resources and passports will take us. I love to MTN bike, Ski, play soccer, and travel.

It's not so much about the size of your paycheck, as it is about how much of it you save and when you start.- Cold calling is hard work......but it's a numbers game and if you work hard, it pays off.- Knocking doors is even harder work, especially in a suit & tie in Southern Utah.....but once again, it pays off.- Networking is uncomfortable at times, but the power of a professional network is worth more than any mutual fund on the planet.- In business and sales, nothing is more important than trust. - Investments are a complicated subject with many nuances, but it's not too hard to cut through the noise and establish sound financial plan with rudimentary asset allocation. Definitely not rocket science.- We don't save like our parents and/or grandparents did.....but it's time to start!- Don't spend more than you earn. Credit card debt is a dark and dreary wasteland and you do not want to wander through that wilderness.
