As a finance student at Colorado Mesa University, I became fascinated with the real estate market and the ability to leverage investments within the space. I first gained hands on experience in the field as a broker associate, assisting first time homebuyers with navigating the sales process. From there I developed my financial modeling abilities, equipping myself with the tools necessary to adequately advise larger investment clients with commercial deals. These experiences introduced me to the world of real estate development, and led to an internship on the Real Estate team at Denver Housing Authority. Throughout this role, I have had the opportunity to assist the Real Estate team in the development of affordable housing projects. I have found a strong interest in real estate acquisitions and development, and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Colorado - Boulder to better prepare myself for a career in this field.
