During the past decade, I’ve revitalized organizational relationships, connected with clients, managed external partners, and collaborated across cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, all while learning the ins-and-outs of a multitude of industries.Currently, at John Deere Financial (JDF), I lead a team of ~20 skilled data practitioners focused on delivering analytic solutions to support and enhance overall operations.In a prior role at JDF, I led a team of ~6 data scientists in the development and deployment of analytical models that predict the value of John Deere equipment at given points in time throughout its lifecycle.At Capital One, I led a small team within the Consumer Bank that guided and supported the product and servicing intent from our lending lines of business in our physical channels. In addition, we evaluated and executed on strategic partnership opportunities ordered toward capturing untapped market share and/or enhancing our value proposition while effectively managing and balancing the risks involved.During my time at Nationwide Insurance, I recommended solutions that more appropriately spread ~$77M in insurance premiums across risk by anchoring rating factors to highly correlated variables in another product suite that featured a materially larger population.Finally, as an MBA Intern at Hallmark Cards, Inc., I recommended a segment implementation plan that would grow a $109MM book of business by 3.5% to 5% in an industry that faced a negative 5% CAGR during the prior five (5) years.None of these outcomes could have been possible without the support of and collaboration with those around me. Through my experience, as demonstrated in each of these examples, I’ve learned that there is untapped potential almost anywhere; the key is to discover the opportunities that are right in front of our eyes.
